Tanya By Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz Sec4 Chap 24 “To Cherish the time when G-D is available”
A New Tanya class By Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz “To Cherish the time when G-D is available”
Tanya Igeret Hakodesh Chapter 24
As friends we need to do what G-D wants & not do what the evil inclination wants.
Prayer time is considered an עת רצון when Hashem unites with the Shechina that is with us in exile.
During Prayer we should meditate on the greatness of G-D & allow that meditation to penetrate our hearts so that our hearts will be on fire for Hashem.
Forsure one should not talk idle talk as we never should do that. Even business or any other necessary talk should not be done during prayer as A) It shows everyone how foolish we are that we don’t realize the great revelation that is taking place. B) we become a impure chariot to the kelipa called כסיל העליון as the Arizal explains that at the time of prayers it’s a huge עת רצון on high as well as here below. C) you are actually endangering your self as your showing a sign of rebellion which carries a huge punishment.
Hence the Talmud says that the time of prayer you need to imagine your standing in front of G-D the king of the world. The Zohar explains that creates the greatest unity & if not than your creating disunity.
The Alter Rebbe places a decree that we should not talk anything during prayer from the beginning to the end in all 3 daily prayer service. If one does so intentionally he should 3 people to forgive him & repent.
Hashem knows those that are sincere & will respect the prayer time & be quiet will be blessed.
