A New Tanya class By Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz Tanya Igeret Hatshuva Chapter 8 High Level of Teshuva = Studying Torah with a passion. In chapter 7 the Alter Rebbe explained that low level of Teshuva is meditation on the fact that our Neshama & the source of our Neshama is in exile when we sin. Once one does that meditation we can ask from the depths of our hearts for Hashem to erase our sins. As when the heart is full of compassion one awakens the 13 attributes of compassion which it’s source is רצון העליון that it’s source is the the point of the Yud which is more powerful than the the four letters of Hashem powerful name Yud-Heh-Vov-Heh. The 13 attributes cleanse even intentional sins. That cuts off energy to Kelipah & Sitra Achra & returns the Heh to its natural place connected to the other three letters. Step one it cleanse the dirt of the sin so there is no disconnect. Step two your able to cleave to Hashem up to the point of before Hashem created you in this world. Like סור מרע & עשה טוב. This is a complete תשובה. There are 4 levels. Sur Mera - last Heh - Malchut - Clean up. Aseh Tov - Vov - Midot - Mitzvot Bakesh Shalom - Heh - Binah - Torah Veradfehu - Yud - Ratzon - Bechal Derachcha Daayhu Than there is even higher level of Teshuva Ilah as the Zohar states to Study Torah with Awe & love. Which is the level of Binah Namely בן י״ה where intellect produces the emotions. This is the beauty of a Bal Teshuva that they can reach much higher with their love for Hashem.
