Tanya By Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz Chapter 27 - Real Happiness is being honest of who you are
Tanya By Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz Chapter 27
Real Happiness is being honest of who you are & serving G-D from your unique level.
The Beinoni is one that his heart has not been transformed & therefore negative & inappropriate thoughts enter his mind.
The Avodah of the Beinoni is to push them out as soon as they enter. The fact that they enter is normal for the Beinoni, if he continues to think about it he is a Rasha, if he has no negative thoughts because his heart is pure he would be a tzadik.
As the Beinoni does his Avodah he has to be HAPPY as he's fulfilling his unique commandment of "Do not go astray after your heart" thereby doing his great & holy work of "Iskafya"
If he is sad that he's having negative & inappropriate thoughts that's a sign he's not being honest of who he really is as this is the Beinoni's Avodah his whole life.
If you make your self holy by practicing restraint you will become holy Hashem will help you get rid of the evil inclination.
